maybe, someday: Silver Linings 21st

Hey guys!

I've recently celebrated my 21st birthday at The Sail @ Marina Bay with a cosy group of family and friends.

For a first, I wanna thank my group of creative directors who conceptualized this together with me and helped me made me possible!

So, first picture is dedicated to you guys!

From left to right, we have Lester (Jessica's boyfriend), the fellow keen eye for all things beautiful. Someone who has many girlfriend testimonials that he doesn't know yet. Thank you for being such a great help and taking lovely pictures for me!

And we have Karine, in chic denim blue and black skirt. She's the artistic Pinterest lookout, a visual perfectionist with overflowing creative juices. You da best girl! :)

And there we have Jess, smiling so happily! She's the hippie in our little girly gang hahaha but she's also really selfless and always there t answer t my little whims. Thank you for convincing me that following your heart makes the best decisions.

Well that's me, i'm like brimming w joy but we'll talk about me later. ;)

AND Timmy, right there, is my boyfriend. He's the romantic i fell for hopelessly (having changed from extremely weird to slightly weird, i love him more now :D) and thank you dear, for going through sleepless nights to compile the videos (not without the help of Karine and Jess) and being my advisor in bad times and playmate in good.

Last but not least, my dearest Mei!!!! She's a selfless giver and she always has your best interests at heart... I've grown t love her so dearly and she's taught me that love should always be expressed via actions. Check out my floral 21, she's the pioneer. ;)

Also, my youngest sister, Li Jin, thank you for agreeing to share your expertise with me. Guess we share some similar artistic genes right there ;) Both Li Ying and you have been rly important in my life and days spent together, much more often when we were younger, were admittedly the best days and i'll always, always be here for you both.

My 21st party was themed Silver Linings.
Okay, to come clean, i wanted something with streaks of silver to go along with the venue?? But i felt like Silver Linings also says a lot about something that I believe i have to work towards.

So, by definition, it is an element of hope or a redeeming quality in an otherwise bad/ unfortunate situation. I truly hope that, people, myself included, can think of yourself as someone ready to accept your flaws and stay optimistic during trying periods. So far, i have yet to reach the stage where people say ' Yknow girl, life is too short for you to just brood in your unhappiness. You have goals? Go out there and get it.'

It's too easy to say!!! But certainly easy to follow through. Meow.

I figured this space could be used to add a little more life and colors so why not i share with you some pictures taken at my party by Lester!

Some of you have seen though my worst and stuck with me. Especially my family. Although these days are really hard for us now because we are all so busy with ourselves... I truly hope we stick together during low tide times like this.
