Such Dogges, Much Adventure

WE'RE THE FURBALLS!!
Let me just share with you an experience @ the local dog cafe - WTF. (Only apt that we use the acronym here, this way it'll be synonym to adorable and MORE awww-attached words. YAY)

I had two internship interviews that day and knowing that, Tim went on loving boyfriend mode and he made healthy salmon & broccoli which came in place of pompoms. (Kidding, he's always loving, he's probably reading this! hey :))

So i thought of the things he love and recalled the dog cafe my girlfriends briefly mentioned before. That's it, I thought, it'll be the perfect place to head down to in the evening and we could spend a good evening date hanging around with furry company.

When we reached initially, we thought that they were having a corporate event. There were only 2 tables and some chairs, and there were people sitting in a circle in a segregated cleared area- seemed to me like an orderly fashion. But we were mistaken, WTF is a cosy place and the cleared area was in fact the play area for customers to play with the dogs. 6 DOGS! (insert heart-shaped eyes emoticon)

There's Duchess, Bui Bui, Slinky, Lu-Lu, Mochi and Yuki-chan, all of different breed. They are charged with really high energy but somehow… they are pretty selective as well ;) WTF provides little dog snacks for sale and customers can buy them to gain the likes of the dogs (Yup, that's right, tables have been turned.) But well, what can we say!! We've a soft spot for them, a good weakness actually. We started using toys to spark off the chemistry but it didn't work for too long. Being attention seekers ourselves, we went ahead to get some evening snack for em as well.

And it worked.
Managed to get some really sweet photos up there.

I'm really happy just by seeing Tim happy. Though he has a mistress at night, the black cat that tails after him every night, (I'm friends with him now, sorry his gender identity is confusing and left unfigured, but yes watching you Cornelius!) but i still love it when i see him mingling with his animal pals and treating them like one of us.

I do believe that one who is able to treat the animals with proper care and loving does the same to anyone else. I'm not sure who but i'm pretty certain a wise man said it himself. :)

Can't wait for more adatetures -
NEXT STOP: HOKKAIDO!!!

musings

HI EARTHLINGS,

Just recorded a short cover of me singing Best Girl Ever for one of my closest friend, Karine Tan. She's all into hippie gypsy lifestyle so i've decided to dress like Jason Mraz but sing One Direction instead, hahahaha. OK, yeap, thanks for dealing with my musings…..

I really ought to get back to work, it's WEEK 13 NEXT WEEK in SMU.
LET THE GAMES BEGIN.

tiny beautiful things

Lately, i realized i've got too many backlogs in my memory card.
I contemplated for a long time on whether i should do this as it could go two ways: rekindle the spark or face the monsters in the head again. I followed my first option and will let this help me reconcile the mixed feelings and my love for salsa dancing for the past year and a half.

For now, these shall be the good old days. Life has its way of letting you learn from the hard way and some ways are meant to part. But it doesn't discount anything from the past, it doesn't.

Here's the very existence of me, and a part of me that will always live within me.

I leave this place with love, melancholy and memories.

“I'll never know, and neither will you, of the life you don't choose.
We'll only know that whatever that sister life was, it was important and beautiful and not ours. It was the ghost ship that didn't carry us. There's nothing to do but salute it from the shore.”
