1. Experiment and seek opportunities that excite you and inspire you to wake up in the morning.
2. Know who you are. Meaningful careers are made up of personal journeys to get closer to who we are and what we value. 
3. Use skills as leverage. People who find fulfilling work are good at what they do and have mastered a particular craft or talent. If you need to develop a new skill, start learning now. In-person and online platforms like General Assembly, Code Academy, Skillshare, and Coursera, are a great place to start. 
4. Find meaningful work by surrounding yourself with supportive communities made up of purpose-driven individuals. Organizations like ReWork, Imperative, Echoing Green, Net Impact, and B Lab have the resources for you to explore, from social impact job boards, career planning tools to regional networking events.

Hey, I'm sitting at the coffeehouse. 

I see my old schoolmate, with the same hairstyle and still is as tall as a dainty lady in her 20s can get. I see a lady in her mid 40s, wearing a lilac basic shirt, something my mother would wear. I see an uncle browsing the papers intently, just like what my dad was doing yesterday as he relate his views to the recent ferry tragedy.

My father has shaven sideburns. There they reveal the grey linings - they aren't silver.

He speaks loudly, assertively. He preaches with dignity because he believes strongly in what he says. Above all, he's a kind man. He would stop his car to help an old lady pick bottles from the rubbish bin, he drives around the neighbourhood during chinese new year to give the elderly red packets, that's his way of blessing people around him. The way I learned.
